WARRINGTON Lions Club has revealed the itinerary for its Santa sleigh this Christmas.

The popular float will tour the town for 13 nights beginning on Saturday, December 4.

And the Lions have now revealed the designated starting points for Father Christmas on each evening, beginning with Lidl in Latchford at 4.30pm on the first date.

This will be followed by the Stag pub in Walton from 5pm on December 5 and Fairfield Street, Fairfield, at 5.30pm on December 6.

Next will be Jackson Avenue in Paddington on December 7, St Oswald’s Church in Padgate on December 8 and Barnfield Road in Woolston on December 10 – with start time of 5.30pm for each.

The sleigh will be on Howson Road in Orford and Orford Jubilee Neighbourhood Hub from 4.30pm on December 11 and 12 respectively.

Santa will then visit Monmouth Close in Woolston on December 13, Dam Lane in Woolston on December 14, Slater Street in Latchford on December 15 and Gainsborough Road in Lower Walton on December 17 with 5.30pm starts.

Two final dates will see Father Christmas come to the Blackburne Arms pub in Orford from 4.30pm on both December 18 and 19.

Detailed routes in the areas around these starting points will be revealed on Facebook on the day.
