TWO suspects have been charged after a teenager was seriously injured in a hit and run.
The 18-year-old pedestrian was struck by a car on Battersby Lane in Orford at around 9.45pm on Friday, October 29.
He remains in a serious condition in Aintree Hospital this morning, Tuesday.
An air ambulance was reportedly called to the scene of the collision.
Cheshire Police have now confirmed that charges have been brought against two men in connection with the incident.
Elliot Watson - of Smith Street in Orford - has been charged with causing serious injury by dangerous driving, failing to stop after an accident, aggravated vehicle taking, driving while disqualified, failing to report an accident and driving without insurance.
Meanwhile Barclay Redford, of Liverpool, has been charged with aggravated vehicle taking.
The pair, aged 36 and 18 respectively, are due to appear before Warrington Magistrates Court in order to face these charges later today.
