JOE Bunney rescued a point for Warrington Rylands 1906 on a day when they missed out on taking over top spot in Northern Premier League Division One West.
With leaders Workington losing at home for the first time this season - 4-2 against Runcorn Linnets - a victory at struggling Glossop North End would have taken Dave McNabb's boys to the summit.
But Blues came up against a home team in determined mood and found themselves behind to a Lee Wilshaw header three minutes into the second half.
Bunney levelled matters in the 85th minute when he managed to steer home a ball that had pinballed around the box after Joe Denman's shot had been blocked.
