IT is that time of the year again.

It comes around quickly, doesn’t it? Halloween is around the corner and that means pumpkin picking trails are returning.

So, we have rounded up the best places in Warrington to have some muddy fun.

Bates Farm

Bates Farm, based in Croft, will be growing pumpkins for the tenth successive year and have two events that residents are welcome to.

Their more than 5,000 strong pumpkin patch will run on October 16 and 17, as well as 23 and 24 with nine tours on each day which lasts for an hour.

Kenyon Hall Farm

More than 15,000 pumpkins have been grown in their outdoor pumpkin patch, as well as the huge indoor display of ready-picked pumpkins.

As of October 13, every session in October is now sold out with no tickets available to book.

It is possible that extra tickets will be released in the coming dates for dates beyond October 18 and to find out, potential visitors are encouraged to sign up to Kenyon Hall Farm’s newsletter at the bottom of this page.

Grange Farm Lowton

They have thousands of homegrown pumpkins available to pick direct from their pumpkin patch.

It is part of their pumpkin festival that is running throughout October which also includes pumpkin carving, animal feeding and a haunted barn.

Dates are available between October 14 – 29 for pumpkin picking across four sessions between 9am and 5pm.

Visitors are advised that one ticket covers a family of up to five people and under two’s go for free.

Partridge Lakes

New at the lake is the Partridge pumpkin patch.

It will take place October 16 – 31 on the Partridge Lakes Café patch.

They don’t offer specific timeslots so visitors are encouraged to arrive anytime within these hours.

Entry is £2 and under 1s go free. You can get any three pumpkins for £10 and tickets can be found here.

Farmer Bertie's

Opposite Bents Garden Centre, Farmer Bertie’s pumpkin patch will get under way from Saturday, October 16 and lasts until the end of October.

It is open Monday – Saturday’s 10am to 5pm and 10am to 4pm on Sunday’s.

There is no entry fee and no booking necessary to access thousands of pumpkins.

Any three pumpkins cost £10.
