CHILDREN at a nursery in Birchwood are getting into the Halloween spirit with their new pumpkin patch.
The staff at Heathfield House Day Nursery decided to make the month ‘extra special’ for children who have missed out on 'so much' during the last 18 months.
Rebecca Pennington, who is deputy manager, was able to get all the pumpkins and hay bales from her husband’s farm in Winwick.
The children at the Delenty Drive nursery have ‘absolutely loved’ the patch so far and have been interested in how the ‘baby’ pumpkins have grown.
They take pictures in front of the patch every morning before they head into nursery.
