WARRINGTON is set to host its first ‘Drag Brunch’, which will be held at the Old School in Fairfield next week.

Drag queens Miss Verry Cherry and Ginger Hunter will lead the entertainment alongside DJ MX World on Sunday, October 17.

According to the event description, guests should expect ‘hilarity, nonsense, sissying of walks, fashion baby, lip syncs, bingo and endless camp shenanigans’.

Tickets are £25 and will include entertainment, two glasses of prosecco, afternoon tea made by the R Teacup café, and unlimited tea and coffee – with more prosecco available to buy.

Cameron Brown, who works at the Old School and is helping to organise the event, said: “The response so far has been really good.

“This is the first time that anything like this has been held in Warrington so it should be a lot of fun.”

The event is a charity fundraiser in aid of creating a safe space for an LGBTQIA+ support group in Warrington where people will be able to socialise and chat openly with each other.

The fabulous brunch will be held from 1pm to 5pm at R’Teacup at the Old School on October 17.

Entry is 16+ and those under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
