WARRINGTON Wolves' season is over.

For the third year in a row, they have bowed out of the play-offs at the first hurdle.

But this was the most embarrassing exit of the three, being nilled at home by a side that crept into the play-offs and had conceded a lot of points in recent weeks.

The Wire made a catalogue of handling errors, a number of them in scoring positions, and struggled to handle Rovers' Man of Steel contender half-back Jordan Abdull.

He scored the first try, created the killer third and rubbed salt into the Wire wounds with a drop goal that put the game out of Wire's reach.
