IT is just hours away.

Following the success of Neighbourhood Weekend 2021, the line-up for next years event is just around the corner and fans have had their say as to who they want to see in action.

Gerry Cinnamon, James, Sam Fender and Catfish and The Bottlemen all wowed the Victoria Park crowd across the first weekend in September and just weeks later, music-lovers will find out who will take to the music extravaganza.

Quite a few fans seem keen to see Liam Gallagher. The former Oasis frontman has played Reading and Leeds as well as trnsmt in recent months and Rachel Gray, Andy Tart, Scott Wardale, Graeme Keast and Terry Yates would all love to see him take to Warrington next year.

After headlining in 2018, Rachel and Ian Hughes want to see the return of Courteeners, with Ian keen for Gerry to visit Warrington for the second year on the bounce.

Stereophonics were also mentioned by Rachel and Andy as a band that they want to see at Neighbourhood.

Laura Dean wants to see Johnny Marr, The Vaccines and Frank Turner across the weekend at Neighbourhood – what a combination that would be.

Warren Shaw called for the Arctic Monkeys, with three people supporting his comment.

After getting too drunk this year and going home (I bet she wasn’t the only one), Simone Williams would love to see James take to town again, with Biffy Clyro, Nile Rodgers and CHIC among bands like Idles, Doves and more.

The Killers were suggested by Andy Sutch, Rob Griffiths and Graeme, as Scott and Louis Freeman put Paolo Nutini’s name in the mixer.

Fans also called for artists such as Steps, Royal Blood, Queen, The Wurzels, Florence and The Machine, Metallica, The Streets, and Sea Girls.

The exact line-up will be announced this evening.
