WARRINGTON Hospital has sadly recorded another death of a patient that had tested positive for coronavirus.
The sad news was confirmed by Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust this afternoon, Monday, in its daily Covid-19 update.
It means that as a result, the hospital’s virus death toll to date has now risen to 527.
As of this afternoon, 20 beds at the Lovely Lane site are occupied by patients that have tested positive for coronavirus in the past 14 days or less.

Of this number, four are in the hospital’s intensive care unit.
Since Thursday, a further 12 patients have been discharged from the hospital after recovering from Covid.
This takes the trust’s coronavirus discharge total since the start of the pandemic to 2,287.
