RESIDENTS were fascinated to discover just how many different activities are held on their doorstep.
More than 50 community organisations, clubs, societies and interest groups took part in Knutsford’s first community freshers fair, ReFresh Knutsford on Saturday.
The event, organised by Knutsford Town Council, was held in St John’s Church and Knutsford Methodist Church and aimed to help connect the town with various organisations and opportunities.
Canute Badminton Club, Knutsford French Circle and the new Knutsford Skatepark group were delighted to showcase their activities.

Participating organisations have provided positive feedback for the event.
One group said: "It was an excellent way to bring Knutsford organisations together at the same time for people to be reminded of ones they'd forgotten or shown some they didn't realise existed.
"There was a real buzz.”
Town clerk Adam Keppel-Green said: “It was great to see just how many different groups work to make Knutsford such a great town.
"W had everything from bowls and badminton, model flying to the tree WIs and a range of community groups including friends groups formed in the last 12 months.
“We’re reviewing feedback from the groups who took part and in due course our events committee will consider plans for a repeat in 2022.”
