IT’S nearly upon us.
Creamfields festival returns to Daresbury next week after a year out due to coronavirus.
The likes of The Chemical Brothers, Example, David Guetta, Oliver Heldens, Carl Cox, Tiesto, Martin Garrix and Camelphat all take to Warrington over the bank holiday weekend.
And things are taking shape on the Chester Road site. The green bridge connecting the two fields is up and ready to go.
Fencing and it appears that elements of a stage are well in the works too.
Here is what you need to know about the surrounding area as to what has changed and the plans that are in place from next Thursday, August 26.
There are signs around Chester Road suggesting that delays are possible during Creamfields in the area.
With the sheer amount of people coming in and out of the area, that was to be expected.
Holly Hedge Lane and Hobb Lane – which is opposite purple gate – are both roads that go down the sides of the initial field and will be closed from August 26-30.
Also, Underbridge Lane will be off-limits to users during that time.
