FAMILIES can explore a summer trail of 100,000 sunflowers in their glorious colour as part of a new experience at Kenyon Hall Farm.
Visitors are invited to wind their way through a sunflower patch and wheat field with farming facts for youngsters to find along the way.
The sunflowers cover a field of around two acres and the scenic trail takes around 20 minutes but there is no time limit.
James Bulmer, manager of the family business in Croft, said: “We’re so excited to launch our summer trail.
“It’s a new attraction for 2021 and gives our visitors the chance to experience the beauty of summer here on the farm.
“They can wander their way through our stunning sunflower patch and picturesque wheat field, taking lots of photos along the way.
“The sunflowers are only in bloom for a few short weeks so we encourage people to visit as soon as possible.”
Kenyon Hall Farm, in Winwick Lane, is best known for its fruit picking experiences but also has a popular farm shop, cafe, plant centre and play area.
Booking in advance is necessary to control visitor numbers. Tickets cost £2.95 per person, £10 for a family of four or £12.50 for a family of five at kenyonhall.co.uk/summer-trail
