NO new coronavirus deaths have been recorded at Warrington Hospital over the past 48 hours.
This is according to the latest Covid-19 update issued by Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust this afternoon, Thursday.
It means that the trust’s virus death toll to date remains at 510.
At present, the Lovely Lane site is caring for 21 patients that have contracted coronavirus.
Of this number, four are receiving care in the hospital’s intensive care unit.

This is exactly the same number of patients on both accounts as there was on Tuesday, with data from yesterday not available.
Moreover, five more patients have been discharged from Warrington Hospital over the past two days after beating the virus.
This takes the discharge total since the start of the pandemic to 2,123.
