WARRINGTON'S Jaguar dealership on Winwick Road is to be demolished.
It closed last month with customers being told they would now have to travel to Liverpool with the Rybrook franchise in Warrington closing.
Now a planning application has been submitted to Warrington Borough Council to pull down the buildings.
The proposal also seeks permission to extend the existing Volvo Dealership to the side and re-clad the building.
The Volvo dealership is remaining open.
The application says: "The Jaguar dealership will be demolished and the external vehicle display and parking areas will be reconfigured to improve site safety.
"The Volvo Dealership will remain and will be refurbished.
"A small extension will be constructed to accommodate a "parts store, tool store and staff toilets."
It is the second dealership to close on Winwick Road in recent years.
Lookers closed in 2018 and a self storage unit is being built in its place.
