ALL lanes have reopened but delays remain on the M56 this afternoon, Wednesday.
This follows a crash involving a lorry and a van on the eastbound carriageway between junction 10 for Stretton and junction nine for the Lymm Interchange.
Two lanes were closed while traffic officers from Highways England, recovery workers and North West Motorway Police officers worked at scene.

At its peak, traffic was stretching back for six miles past junction 12 for Runcorn, with delays of more than an hour.
Travel time is reported to be around 30 minutes now that the carriageway has fully reopened.
