A PEDESTRIAN was hit by a car on a major route through the town centre late last night.
The 40-year-old suffered injuries which are not believed to be serious after the incident on Brick Street shortly after 10pm yesterday, Thursday.
He was taken hospital in an ambulance, with the collision having involved a grey Vauxhall vehicle.
A Cheshire Police spokesman said: “Shortly after 10pm on Thursday, July 22, police were called to a collision on Brick Street.
“The collision involved a pedestrian and a car – a grey Vauxhall.
“A 40-year-old man was taken to hospital by ambulance with injuries not believed to be serious.”
