Delays are due to repairs being carried out on the Thelwall Viaduct
ONE lane is closed causing long delays and queuing traffic on the M6 this afternoon, Wednesday.
This is due to emergency repairs being carried out on the Thelwall Viaduct.
The lane closure is in place on the northbound carriageway between junction 20 for the M56 and junction 21 for Manchester Road, A57.
Congestion is up to junction 19, Knutsford.
Travel time is around 35 minutes and lane four (of four) is closed.
