CINEWORLD Warrington has decided to voluntarily keep its social distancing rules and other Covid procedures.
The announcement comes after many other cinema chains removed all coronavirus measures following ‘Freedom Day’ on July 19.
Other measures being kept at the Time Square cinema are hand sanitiser stations, deep cleaning, plastic till screens 'to focus on the safety of guests'.
Cineworld is also describing its cinemas as somewhere to 'cool down safely' during the heatwave thanks to its air conditioning.
The 13-screen Time Square cinema opened on December 11, 2019, just months before the Covid-19 era made its stark impact on box office figures.
Cineworld then announced plans to close all its sites in October 2020 due to the crisis.
Its Warrington cinema then reopened in May.
