RESTAURANT customers are being warned about a fake credit card request.
The Grill on the Square is advising anyone who has received a message asking for credit card details to ignore it.
A spokesman for the restaurant in Palmyra Square said:"If you have received a friend request from The Grill on The Square followed by a message asking for credit card details, please do not accept the request or provide any of your details.
"It is a fake profile.
"We are a verified business account and cannot send friends and will never send a message asking for any credit card details.
"Apologies if you have received a request, the profile has been reported."
Charles Dobosz and Adam Smith, who met while working at Michelin-starred chef Michael Caines’ Abode in Manchester, established the contemporary restaurant in 2010.
The popular eateries celebrated a decade in the cultural quarter by investing in a new look and refurbishment.
