A NEW Pizza Hut branch is set to move in next door to a Domino’s Pizza.
The chain’s move has been revealed in an application for planning permission submitted in relation to signage at the unit on Liverpool Road in Great Sankey.
According to the submission lodged with Warrington Borough Council, it is set to occupy the premises which currently houses the Cinnamon Takeaway.
This location is two doors down from the existing Domino’s takeaway in the small retail complex neighbouring the Butcher’s Arms, with the two pizzerias separated only by the Subway branch.
How the new Pizza Hut could look according to the application
Pizza Hut’s footprint in the town currently consists of a dine-in restaurant at Junction Nine Retail Park and a takeaway at the Bridge Shopping Centre Place in Latchford.
