ALL but six areas of the town saw a rise in coronavirus infection rates over the past week.
The rise in new Covid-19 cases comes at a time when Warrington has been classed as an ‘enhanced support package area’.
In recent weeks, it has been revealed that the more transmissible Delta variant, which was first discovered in India, is responsible for around 92 per cent of all coronavirus cases in Warrington
Only two out of 25 areas of the town saw their number of Covid cases recorded in single figures, with 23 areas detecting 10 or above.
