A PSEUDO-superhero dressed as Batman has been told off by police after hiding in bushes and jumping out at passers-by.
The caped crusader has been spotted ‘acting suspiciously’ in the Birchwood area, including in Risley Moss and Birchwood Forest Park.
Officers says that the wannabe Batman was ‘spoken to and given words of advice’.
A Cheshire Police spokesman said: “As the police, we respond to a wide variety of incidents and no two days are the same.
“However, it's not often that we receive reports of Batman loitering in Birchwood.
“We received reports of a male dressed as Batman acting suspiciously on Risley Moss and Birchwood Forest Park.
“It was suggested that the male was hiding in bushes and jumping out at passers-by.
“Batman has been spoken to and given words of advice.
“No other DC characters are believed to be involved.”
