CHESHIRE Dogs’ Home near Grappenhall is looking for loving homes for two of its current longest stayers, Solo and Skyler.

Solo, a four year old former racing greyhound, is a ‘very affectionate’ boy who loves cuddles and ‘really likes people around to keep him company.’

Due to his racing training, he has a very high prey drive so he should ideally continue to wear a muzzle on walks.

A home with a secure garden where Solo can run about and play safely would be great for him, as would a patient owner who can teach him all about being a companion in a loving household, as opposed to a racing dog.

Skyler has won the dogs’ home staff over with her happy and outgoing personality, as well as her ‘fabulous’ ears.

She is a six year old cross bread who is full of character/

Skyler needs an active home where she can ‘happily play the clown’ and get lots of stimulation.

She can be quite vocal, so she needs a home where noise isn’t a big issue.

Skyler will ‘thrive’ in an experienced, adult-only home without other pets.

Anyone interested in adopting Solo or Skyler should contact Cheshire Dogs’ Home on 0300 102 1212 to make an appointment.
