MORE and more rugby players are starting to set up businesses and ventures to stand them in good stead outside the game.

For Warrington Wolves players Matt Davis and Matty Ashton, that process starts now.

With both holding personal training qualifications, the pair have set up a fitness bootcamp that welcomes people of all ages and abilities.

The “M-Squared” Bootcamp will see participants put through their paces by Davis and Ashton – a unique chance to be trained by two active professional rugby players.

“We wanted to have a way of keeping people in Warrington fit and active,” Davis said.

“We will keep it fun and everybody should go at their own pace, know their limits and we’ll go from there.

“I’ve had my Level 3 PT license since I was at London Broncos. Matty has just got his and we’ve both had ambitions of doing something like this.

“We’re good mates off the field so we thought why not do it together.

“Being in the fitness industry and maybe having my own gym is something I’d quite like to do after rugby.”

Sessions run for an hour on Tuesday evenings at Victoria Park, with numbers limited to 20 per session.
