A SUSPECT has been charged after police raided a cannabis farm in Whitecross.
Cheshire Police executed a search warrant at a property on Wellfield Street at around 8am on Saturday, March 5, after concerns were raised by members of the public.
In total, 339 cannabis plants were seized from the address while a man was arrested at the scene.
Van Nguyen has since been charged with production of a class B drug in connection with the raid.
The 24-year-old, of no fixed address, is due to appear before Warrington Magistrates Court today, Monday, in order to face this charge.
Pictures posted on social media by the force appeared to show an officer snapping a lock off a shed using a pair of bolt cutters.
Residents also reported there having been a strong smell of cannabis in the area in recent weeks.
