A MUM-of-two is set to appear on Dragons' Den seeking investment in her business.

Helen Davies, from Westbrook, is the founder and chief executive of baby weaning supply service Easytots - offering products including suction silicone plates, bowls and more.

And she will be appearing on primetime television asking the notorious dragons for a cash injection in order to take the company to the next level in an episode which will be aired on BBC One tomorrow night, Thursday.

The former St Gregory's Catholic High School and Priestley College student said: "I applied for Dragons' Den last year and got through the audition stage, but with Covid there have been loads of delays.

"The good bit about that is I was very prepared and went over my speech and figures over and over again with family and friends over Zoom and felt a lot more confident going in there.

"Plus, I had a friend of mine and her baby with me as the demonstrators which was an extra boost.

"It was nerve wracking - obviously I can't say how it went, but to appear in front of the dragons is a huge deal and I wanted to as prepared as possible and not stumble over my words.

"Easytots is doing well and I'm proud of what we have done, but I really felt an investment and support from the likes of the dragons could take us to the next step.

"I really hope people tune in to watch it.

"We filmed in September and I've had to stay quiet all this time - we are having a viewing party for family and friends, we are that excited."
