NO deaths relating to coronavirus were recorded at Warrington Hospital over the weekend.
The positive news was confirmed by Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust this afternoon, Monday.
It means that the trust’s Covid-19 death toll remains at 499, with the last Covid-related death coming almost two weeks ago.
At present, the Lovely Lane site is caring for 17 patients that have tested positive for the virus, of which two are in intensive care.

One more patient was discharged from hospital over the weekend after recovering from coronavirus, bringing the discharge total since the start of the pandemic to 2,017.
To date, the trust has conducted 96,192 tests for Covid-19, with 5,459 returning positive.
