WARRINGTON Hospital has again recorded no coronavirus-related deaths.
It is now more than week since the last death of a patient that tested positive for Covid-19, with the virus death toll remaining at 499.

As of this afternoon, Wednesday, the Lovely Lane site is caring for 18 patients that have contracted coronavirus, of which one is in intensive care.
Two more patients were discharged in the past 24 hours after recovering from the virus, bringing the hospital’s discharge total since the start of the pandemic to 2,011.

To date, Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust has conducted 93,867 tests for Covid-19, with 5,455 returning positive.
