NO new coronavirus-related deaths have been recorded at Warrington Hospital for a third consecutive day.
The positive news was confirmed by Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in its daily coronavirus briefing this afternoon, Friday.
It means that the trust’s virus death toll remains at 499.
At present, 24 patients at the Lovely Lane site are receiving care after testing positive for Covid-19, of which one is in the intensive care unit.
This is a rise of four and fall of one respectively since yesterday.

No patients were discharged after recovering from coronavirus in the past 24 hours, with the discharge total since the start of the pandemic remaining at 1,999.
To date, the trust has conducted 91,654 Covid tests, with 5,438 returning positive.
