HOSPITALS across the BCP Council area have admitted just four Covid patients in the most recent weekly period, according to NHS figures.
The coronavirus situation report on hospitals in England, which covers up to May 2, shows that University Hospitals Dorset had one patient admitted with the virus on April 27, one on April 30 and two on May 1.
In terms of bed occupancy, the most recent data available for May 4 shows that three patients with coronavirus were being treated across UHD's sites – Royal Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole hospitals.
In the days prior to this, the figure did drop to a single patient on May 1.
UHD facilities have not been 'Covid zero' in terms of coroanvirus patients occupying beds since September 11 las year.

As of May 4, Dorset County Hospital had one bed occupied by a patient with Covid. The hospital had two days last month – April 21 and April 22 – when it was 'Covid zero'.
Dorset HealthCare, which oversees 12 community hospitals and minor injuries units, has had no Covid patients in beds since April 30.
