POLICE are appealing for help from members of the public in tracing a wanted woman.

Lauren Denton is wanted by Cheshire Police after failing to appear in court, having been charged with production of cannabis.

The 28-year-old is believed to be in the Widnes area, although she is from Liverpool.

She is described as being white, around 5ft3 and of a medium build with brown hair and blue eyes.

A force spokesman said: “Police are asking the public to help them trace a woman who is wanted for failing to appear at court in connection with producing cannabis.

“Lauren Denton is from Liverpool, and is believed to be in the Widnes area.

“The 28-year-old is white and around 5’3” tall with a medium build.

“She has brown hair and blue eyes.

“Anyone who sees Denton or has information regarding her whereabouts is asked to call Cheshire Police on 101.

“Alternatively, information can be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
