IT'S finally happened!

Here's your first look at rugby league superstar Greg Inglis making his debut for Warrington Wolves.

Nearly 26 months after his last game in the NRL with South Sydney Rabbitohs, GI swapped red and green stripes for primrose and blue against Hull Kingston Rovers in Betfred Super League Round 5 at The Halliwell Jones Stadium today.

The highly decorated former Australia and Queensland centre, full-back or winger is out of retirement for a last hurrah in joining the pursuit of the only honours he has yet to win in the sport, with this being his first shot in the European competition.

Wire boss Steve Price, who has plenty of experience plotting against GI when he was coaching at St George Illawarra Dragons and Cronulla Sharks, now gets the chance to unleash one of the most lethal weapons the game has seen on the cream of Super League in the coming weeks and months.

For his first selection, he named Inglis at right centre but he actually lined up on the left alongside winger Josh Charnley.

GI follows in the footsteps of a trail of other Australian internationals to have pulled on the primrose and blue shirt - the likes of Bill Shankland, Harry Bath, Les Boyd, Allan Langer, Andrew Johns and Joel Monaghan.
