THERE are currently 24 patients being treated for coronavirus in Warrington Hospital
One more patient has been discharged from the hospital over the weekend after recovering from coronavirus, as the downward trend in patient numbers continues.
Of those 24, four are in intensive care.
The good news was confirmed by Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust this afternoon, Monday.

It means that since the start of the pandemic, 1,962 patients have been discharged from the hospital after beating the virus.
At present, the Lovely Lane site is caring for 25 people that have contracted Covid-19, of which three are in the intensive care unit.
In addition, no new deaths have been recorded for a sevent consecutive day, meaning the trust’s virus death toll remains at 495.
To date, the trust has conducted 83,918 tests for coronavirus, with 5,368 returning positive.
