WARRINGTON Hospital has seen the number of patients it is caring for after contracting coronavirus fall again.
This is according to the latest data issued by Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
As of this afternoon, Tuesday, 26 beds at the Lovely Lane site are occupied by Covid-positive patients, of which three are in intensive care.
Furthermore, no new deaths were recorded over the past 24 hours, with the hospital’s virus death toll remaining at 495.
Five more patients have also been discharged after recovering from Covid-19, bringing the discharge total since the start of the pandemic to 1,948.
To date, the trust has conducted 81,452 tests for coronavirus, with 5,349 returning positive.
