CHECK out a list of some of the roadworks set to take place in Warrington in coming weeks.
- Widnes Road, Penketh >
Carriageway resurfacing work is set to begin on Monday.
The work will take five days with contractors on site between 9am and 5m.
The work is taking place on the A562 between Barrow's Green Lane and Back Lane.
- Town centre roads >
New rules are now in force on a number of roads in Warrington town centre. Many have been made permanent after being introduced temporarily in the pandemic.
- Leaving Prince Henry Street car park; Drivers (apart from taxis) cannot turn left at the junction with Scotland Road.
- Town Hill; Drivers cannot turn left at the junction with Scotland Road (apart from taxis).
- Moulders Lane; Drivers cannot turn left at the junction with Academy Way (apart from taxis)
- Academy Way; Drivers are banned from travelling westbound from its junction with Moulders Lane to Bridge Street (apart from taxis)
- Pedal cycles can now travel in a northerly direction on Bold Street from Wilson Patten Street to Museum Street
