Anyone going through Stockton Heath will probably have seen the amazing floral shop front that is catching the attention of passersby.

BRHAIVE hair and beauty salon boasts a stunning new archway over its entrance on London Road thanks to the creative talents of one Sandymoor resident.

Warrington Guardian:

Emma Leanne Smith, who grew up in Stockton Heath, is the owner of Event Cheshire, which provides beautiful decorations and centrepieces for weddings and other special occasions.

With lockdown restrictions forcing people to cancel their nuptials over the past 12 months, the 39-year-old has turned her hand to other floral creations.

Emma said: “Covid-19 has just halted me in my tracks but I still wanted to be creative and this is something I am passionate about.

“I’ve made floral displays, wreaths and hat boxes for Mother’s Day where I would normally be making bouquets and garlands for weddings and parties.”

Warrington Guardian:

Owner of BRHAIVE Leanne Bartlett wanted something a little bit different outside her salon and, working closely with her client, Emma came up with a floral archway filled with hydrangeas, peonies and wisteria.

Leanne said: “Emma created the floral display for the entrance to the salon to match our wellness theme and decor.

“She added lavender and wisteria to complement the salon and we thought it would help to express our brand by spreading positivity and happiness.”

When Emma was installing the archway at the end of March, she had dozens of people stop and say how much they liked the floral arrangement with one elderly gentleman saying it reminded him of the end of the Second World War when shopkeepers adorned their doorways with flowers.

Emma added: “It has certainly been a difficult time for everyone and this has brought back a little bit of happiness.”

Is Emma’s display outside BRHAIVE the most amazing shop front piece in Warrington? Have you seen one that would rival the archway in Stockton Heath?
