ONE coronavirus death was recorded at Warrington Hospital over the Easter weekend.
The sad news means that the virus death toll at Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust has risen to 491.
The number of Covid-positive patients at the Lovely Lane site fell slightly over the four-day weekend.
As of this afternoon, Tuesday, 43 beds are occupied by patients that have contracted Covid-19, of which six are in intensive care.

This is due to the discharge of a further 11 people after they recovered from coronavirus, bringing the discharge total since the start of the pandemic to 1,931.
To date, the hospital trust has conducted 78,559 tests for Covid-19, with 5,329 returning positive.
