WARRINGTON MARKET will be reopening ALL of its shops, stalls, and services from next week.

As part of the government's 'roadmap' to ease England's lockdown restrictions, non-essential traders as well as salons can open from Monday. Food and drink can also be served on outdoor tables.

It will be a marked change for the Time Square market which currently only has nine shops open due to the Covid rules.

A small number of Cookhouse traders offer a delivery service at weekends too.

A spokesman for Warrington Market said on Facebook: "It’s official – the WHOLE market will reopen next week.

"We’ll post important updates about exactly what this will look like in the coming days, but Warrington Market will be back in business from Monday, April 12, from 9am to 7pm."

Ste White from Renovation Station is excited about the market coming back to life and thanked supporters on social media in recognition of the small, independent company marking another 'lockdown birthday'.

He added: "Two years since we separated the businesses and opened our little stall in the old market.

"It's not been the easiest time for a start-up business during a global pandemic but we've adapted and spent our time wisely launching our own product range and moving into a new shop slap bang in the middle of it all.

"Another lockdown birthday, but we'll make up for it when we can. It's always been a big team effort with me and the lads and the massive support from friends, family, customers and the many restorers who've supported us and got behind our products and what we're trying to achieve is greatly appreciated. Thanks to everyone for making the past two years amazing and we're just getting started."

There will be new faces at the market too as craft beer brand Batch Bottlestore is about to open a stall.
