HERE is a list of roadworks planned across Warrington during the coming month.

  •  Dan’s Road/Widnes Road Penketh >

Carriageway works will begin on April 19 for five days.

It means driving will be banned on the A562 Dan’s Road/Widnes Road (Eastbound) between Barrow’s Green Lane and Back Lane.

Work will take place between 9pm and 5am, when signed on site.The alternative route will be via A562 Fiddlers Ferry Road, A557 Watkinson Way, A5080 South Lane/Farnworth Road.

  •  Ellesmere Road, Stockton Heath >

Water work from United Utilities will take place for five days from April 6.

It will mean driving will be banned on Ellesmere Road from its junction with Stretchworth Road to its junction with Ellesmere Road Passageway Gable of 133.

The alternative route will be via Stretchworth Road, Worsley Road, Ellesmere Road Passageway Gable of 133 and vice versa.

  •  Springfield Avenue, Padgate >

Carriageway resurfacing will take place from April 6 for three days.

Driving will be banned on Springfield Avenue from its junction with Green Lane to its junction with Kenilworth Drive.

The alternative route will be via Kenilworth Drive, Devonshire Road, Bruche Avenue, Padgate Lane, Green Lane and vice versa.

  •  Norman Street and Hardy Street, Orford >

T Mobile will carry out maintenance work from April 5 for four days.

The alternative route will be via Orford Lane, Lythgoes Lane, Chorley Street A49.
