A MAN has been taken to hospital in a serious condition after falling from a building in Palmyra Square this morning, Wednesday.
A large police presence was in the area, with an air ambulance landing outside Warrington Town Hall.
A spokesperson for Cheshire Police confirmed: "At 11.14am today, police were called to a building site in Palmyra Square, Warrington, following reports of a man having fallen from a building.
"The casualty has been taken to Aintree Hospital in what is believed to be a serious condition.
"The Health and Safety Executive has been notified of the incident and a joint investigation into the circumstances will be progressed."
A total of four police cars and a crime scene investigation van were spotted in the town centre as a result of the incident.
The building is currently being converted into new flats.
