WARRINGTON Hospital recorded the deaths of seven more patients that had tested positive for coronavirus over the weekend.
The sad news means that the virus death toll at Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust has now risen to 460.
As of this afternoon, Monday, the Lovely Lane site is caring for 128 patients that have contracted coronavirus, with 14 in intensive care.

Over the weekend, a further 22 patients were discharged from hospital after recovering from Covid-19, bringing the discharge total since the start of the pandemic to 1,714
To date, the hospital trust has conducted 64,031 tests for the virus, with 4,991 returning positive.
