YOU don't have to go far for lovely scenery.
Why not give Sankey Valley Park a try next time you go for a lockdown walk - canal, brook, woods, stream, birds, meadow, what's not to like?
You can join the walking route alongside the canal from both ends of Cromwell Avenue, but the parking availability at the A57 Sankey Way end close to St Gregory's School has proven to be ample on my visits.
