WARRINGTON Market is relaunching its popular Cookhouse with a home delivery service every weekend throughout lockdown.

A delivery – as well as a click and collect service – will be available every Friday and Saturday from 4pm to 8.30pm, starting this weekend.

It is anticipated that more hot food and drink traders will be added to the line-up as it goes along but for the launch weekend you can get dishes to your door from Casa Mexica, Krua Thai and Louie's Pizza .

Award-winning burger bar Cafe at the End of the Universe and the acclaimed Eastern Point will then be added to the service in the first weekend of February.

A spokesman for Warrington Market said on Facebook: "So many of you have asked, so we've delivered. Some of your Cookhouse favourites are now offering home delivery.

"From 4pm this Friday, you'll be able to enjoy Cookhouse classics from the comfort of your own living room.

"The guys will be taking delivery orders until 8.30pm every Friday and Saturday or if you prefer, you can click and collect too."

Andy Kinsella, from Cafe at the End of the Universe, added: "We are mega excited to be able to get back to feeding the people of Warrington.

"As always its frustrating when we have to close, but we are confident we can now reopen safely from next week offering delivery and click and collect from the Cookhouse at Warrington Market.

"Hopefully this is the first small step in getting back to at least some sort of semi-normality."
