TWO youths have been arrested for criminal damage during the flooding in Bewsey.
Warrington Police took to social media yesterday to report that during the floods, which hit areas such as Bewsey the hardest, there were reports of gags of youths causing 'damage and distress'.
Today they said: "We posted yesterday regarding the ongoing issues that youths were causing to local residents and local shops in the Bewsey area.
"In the past 12 hours, police have arrested 2 youths for criminal damage, after they were identified from the incidents.
"Officers will be continuing to work with the community to identify any outstanding suspects and will be taking positive action.
"If you have any information regarding any of the incidents please report it to the police on 999 in an emergency or 101."
