WARRINGTON Wolves Women are hosting an open training session ahead of their first season in the Betfred Women’s Super League.
Prospective new players are welcome to join the squad as head coach Lee Westwood prepares his side for a tilt at the top flight.
Their maiden Super League campaign was supposed to be this year, but the coronavirus pandemic forced the cancellation of the entire women’s season.
The session takes place on Tuesday, January 5, at Victoria Park with players asked to arrive for training at 6.45pm.
For more information about how to get involved, email rugbyleague@wolvesfoundation.com.
Players are also being sought for Warrington Wolves’ girls teams across several age groups.
Teams are being fielded in 2021 from the under 11s age group right up to open age for those aged 16 and over.
