Warrington Road in Penketh
FIVE weeks of roadworks will take place in Penketh from next month.
Warrington Road will be closed westbound between 7pm and 1am from Monday, January 25.
The road will be closed in sections from Liverpool Road to Greystone Road and from Warrington Road for 50 metres along the following lengths of road, Grange Drive; Clifford Lane; Inglenook Road; Hall Nook.
Access will be under the control of the relevant contractor for the duration of the works.
The alternative route will be via Sankey Way, Liverpool Road, Stocks Lane, Farnworth Road, Widnes Road and vice versa. The restrictions are required for carriageway surfacing.
