WARRINGTON Wolves are said to be closing in on their third new addition for the 2021 season.
Talk of a move for Hull Kingston Rovers prop Rob Mulhern is gathering pace – reports are linking him with a swap deal, with Wire youngster Luis Johnson going the other way.
Mulhern, who played for England against France in 2018 and England Knights on their tour of Papua New Guinea in the same year, has made more than 100 Super League appearances having started his career with Leeds Rhinos.
Wolves were known to be targetting power and size in the front row – standing at 6feet 3ins tall and weighing at just over 16 stone, Mulhern would certainly fit the bill
The 26-year-old would join fellow front-rower Rob Butler and Australian legend Greg Inglis as new additions to Steve Price's squad for the 2021 campaign.
Johnson made six appearances for the Wire first team in 2020 but spent time on loan at Craven Park during the 2019 campaign.
