IT has been a busy day for Warrington's hospitality sector now that the second lockdown has lifted.
Pubs and restaurants still face restrictions in tier 2 that Boris Johnson has admitted will cause 'a great deal of heartache' for owners and staff.
Like before, friends from different households cannot meet in a hospitality venue unless they are sat outside.
And the tougher measures now mean you cannot have an alcoholic drink without an accompanying meal - meaning a lot of pubs have had to stay shut.
Nevertheless, pubs and restaurants have been taking to social media to share their excitement about reopening their doors.
These are just a few of the recent posts as well as some from farm shops that serve food.
