IF Christmas is going to look rather different this year, here is a reminder of what it looked like 90 years ago.
Thomas Wardle has sent us this brilliant picture of Warrington at Christmas in the late 1920s.
The picture shows his mum Dorothy Court Riley at a party at Oakwood School in around 1928/1929.
It shows decorations hanging from the ceiling and lots of children packed in the school room.
This year’s celebrations look set to be rather different across Warrington with three family households being able to meet for a short period over Christmas.
