WARRINGTON now has the 133rd highest rate of new coronavirus cases, according to the latest data from Public Health England.
In the seven days leading up to November 20, 433 positive Covid-19 tests were recorded in the town.
This is a rate of 206.2 for every 100,000 residents.
By comparison, there were 619 new cases in the seven-day period before November 13 – or 294.7 per 100,000.
Most areas in England, 269 out of 315, have seen a fall in transmissions.
Meanwhile, 245 patients at Warrington Hospital who had tested positive for coronavirus have now died.
Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is currently treating 154 people for the virus, 18 of which are in intensive care.
And 816 who had received inpatient care for Covid-19 have since been discharged.
